INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE OF PLP. PROPOSAL OF BELOS-PLP S.A

Preformed Line Products (PLP) that has existed in the market for more than seventy years is a global manufacturer and vendor of products, technologies, and solutions for power engineering and telecommunication industries. The head office of PLP is located in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Three divisions of PLP are in the USA. Other 17 companies operate around the world.

In this article, we are proud to represent one of PLP companies with rich traditions and wide experience – BELOS-PLP S.A. (www.belos-plp.com.pl) located in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. BELOS-PLP S.A. in the PLP’s structure is one of the largest companies engaged in the power generation sector.

BELOS-PLP S.A. is a leader in the manufacture of network equipment for low, medium, high and ultrahigh voltage transmission lines and electric power stations. Today the company proposes more than 12,000 products. Depending on investment needs of clients and specific technical needs for different climatic zones, the Company develops continuously new types of products.

BELOS-PLP S.A. PROPOSES THE FOLLOWING:

HV and UHV complete strings (110–750 kV): design, manufacture, and delivery of prefabricated modules and insulators.
Suspensions for fiber-optic cables ADSS and ОКГТ (OPGW). Telecommunication fittings installed on electric poles (coupling sleeves).
Up-to-date telecommunication cables ADSS and ОКГТ. Selection and delivery.
Fittings for LV insulated lines.
Up-to-date integrated connection systems for HV electric power stations. Sleeve couplings and modular systems of pipes. Design of substation connections.

Spiral fittings. Protection, installation and spiral connection, as well as repair.
Complete set of fittings for high-temperature wires (ACCC, ACSS, and ACCR).
HVL visualization tools: birdscarers and warning markers.
Protection fittings for power transmission lines. Development of a dampening concept. Selection and delivery of vibration dampers, as well as conductor galloping mitigation system. Field examinations of wire swinging.
Special tools for long spans. River crossing (Fig. 3).

Proposed products also include electrical equipment, as well as power units for electric filters, transformers TOSHIBA, rectifiers, starter control cabinets for large excavators and conveyors used in open pits, etc. The company provides individual solutions and services.

BELOS-PLP S.A. fully participates in the development of manufacturing, power generation industries, environmental protection, and rational use of natural resources. Our proposal covers a full range of systems and equipment for photoelectrical panel installation.

PRESENCE IN KAZAKHSTAN

Being an official dealer and vendor of products manufactured by BELOS-PLP S.A., as well as the entire group PLP in the Republic of Kazakhstan, VALSA Ltd, Almaty (www.valsa.kz) was awarded an honorary diploma for the Polish-Kazakh cooperation development in 2016. In cooperation with VALSA Ltd, BELOS-PLP S.A. participated in products deliveries for constructing an HVL 500 kV in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2016–2017.

Having implemented successfully the first bilateral projects, BELOS-PLP S.A. represented by VALSA Ltd is interested in its further presence in the Kazakh market and expansion of its products delivery proposal.
